Saturday, Calumet College's Men's Basketball team hosted Olivet Nazarene in what would be a tough match-up for the Crimson Wave. The Tigers started off strong against the Wave but the Crimson Wave couldn't catch back up, going into halftime down 53-35. In the 2nd half, the Crimson Wave weren't able to make up enough ground to come back with the Tigers defeating the Wave 105-70.
Travis McBride led the Crimson Wave scoring 14 points, Lawrence Pointer scored 12 points, and Ion Falkner and Noel Mpie both scored 10 points. The team shot 39.4% in Total Field Goals, 45.8% in Total 3-Pointers, and 50% from the Free-Throw line.
