Gary, IN - The Calumet College Men's Basketball team took on their Region rival IU-Northwest on Saturday after a tough loss at IU-South Bend on Wednesday. The Crimson Wave held on to a three-point lead over the Red Hawks going into halftime 38-35. In the 2nd half, the Crimson Wave extended their lead and held the IUN offense just enough to secure their 71-60 win to finish the week.
Noel Mpie finished the game with his second double-double of the season, scoring 22 points with 13 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Floyd Davis scored 14 points with 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block. Oshawn Lee scored 13 points with 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
The Crimson Wave moved to 7-12 in CCAC play and 7-14 overall.
