Doan Earns NCBCA All-American Honors
Sophomore Mason Doan was named National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association 2024-25 All-American Honorable Mention
Las Vegas, NV – Calumet College of St. Joseph Men's Bowling had sophomore Mason Doan receive NCBCA 2024-25 All-American Honorable Mention honors.
Doan finished the 2024-25 season with the 19th best overall collegiate average at 214.854 in 48 games played.
He competed in nine events and finished in the top-25, five times.
His best outing came on December 20, 2024, at the Collegiate Shoot-Out in Las Vegas.
Doan placed 3rd amongst a field of 474 bowlers, finishing with a total of 1183 in five games, for an average of 236.6. That average is the highest Doan has posted in his collegiate career throughout a five-game event.
Two days prior to this accomplishment, he bowled a total of 1753 in eight games played at the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational that landed him 7th overall in a field of 497 bowlers.
In two quick years as a Crimson Wave, Doan has now placed in the top-25 at an event nine times.
"Mason has grown as a person and player," CCSJ Men's Head Bowling Coach Mike Kubacki said. "He's one of the very few players in the country that's bowled 100% of their teams' frames. … We are looking forward for even more leadership from him as he becomes a junior next season."
