CCSJ Softball signs Portage’s Marquez

Whiting, IN - Calumet College Softball signed transfer Jackie Marquez, a local from Portage, IN, for the upcoming 2023 season. 

Marquez, a transfer from Lincoln University of Missouri, will major in Kinesiology while attending CCSJ. A 5'7 Catcher/Utility, Marquez graduated from Portage High School and chose CCSJ to "continue my academic and athletic career closer to home." 

While at Lincoln, Marquez was a three-time member of the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll. Marquez looks forward to "the bonds I will create with others, and the experience I will receive at CCSJ."
