CCSJ Softball signs Portage's Fausch

Portage, IN – Calumet College of St. Joseph Softball have signed Erin Fausch to the incoming class for the 2026-27 season.

Fausch, a 5'10 first baseman/outfielder from Portage High School, plans on majoring in Kinesiology and chose CCSJ because, "it's close to home with a good kinesiology program and softball." 

At Portage High School, Fausch is a scholar-athlete that is a part of the National Honors Society, ranking in the top 20 of her graduating class. She also played volleyball and her prowess on the softball field awarded her Duneland Athletic Conference (DAC) all-conference recognition.

Come next year when she is with the Crimson Wave, Fausch said she's looking forward to gaining a higher education while playing a higher level of competition in softball.
