Spencer joins Novak’s Region Signees

Coach Novak signed Whiting High School graduate Zach Spencer to the Crimson Wave Sprint Football team. Spencer, a Defensive End, joins Novak's squad as one of the first signees and has already begun school at CCSJ. 

Spencer is majoring in Media Design and Studio Art and chose CCSJ because of "the surrounding family that is being built makes you feel right at home. I've seen a place where I can grow athletically and also get an education. As the coaches say 'Come Grow with Us.'" 

The Crimson Wave Sprint Football team will be competing in their inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 in the Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL). Sprint football has the same rules as standard American football except players must maintain a weight limit of 178 pounds. The Midwest Sprint Football League will be playing its inaugural season in the Fall of 2022 with 6 member schools competing, with Calumet College being one of the founding members.
