CCSJ Women's Basketball signs Crown Point's Johnson
Crown Point, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph women's basketball program have signed Madelyn Johnson to the incoming class for the 2026-27 season.
Johnson, a 5'7 shooting guard from Crown Point High School, plans on majoring in Kinesiology and chose CCSJ because, "I met coach Davidson at a prospect showcase, and we kept in touch about playing basketball for the Crimson Wave and here we are."
At Crown Point High School, Johnson is a National Honor Society student and scholar-athlete. She is a part of the key club and the Creating a Safe School (CASS) club, which is an anti-bullying student leadership club where 10-12th graders work with middle school students on creating a safe school environment.
Coming to Calumet College this fall, Johnson said she is looking forward to getting to know the team and the people on campus.
