Strong Trojan team sweeps Wave in CCAC action
WHITING, Ind. – The Calumet College of St. Joseph volleyball team overcame a slow start in the opening set against Trinity International University (Ill.) to keep things close in the second and third sets, but it was not enough to get the upset. The Trojans, one of the top teams in the CCAC through the opening half of the season, came away with a straight set win. Cassandra Flores (FR/El Paso, Texas) led the Wave in kills and digs, while Alyssa Lovato (SR/La Junta, Colo.) dished out a team-high 15 assists.
