CCSJ Women's Volleyball signs Hammond's Beecher

Whiting, IN – The Calumet College of St. Joseph Women's Volleyball program have signed setter and defensive specialist Olivia Beecher, a local from Hammond, for the upcoming 2025 season.

Beecher, a top-15 student in her class academically at Hammond Academy of Science and Technology, plans on majoring in Criminal Justice and chose CCSJ because, "it's a friendly environment and everyone is welcoming."  Next year, Beecher is looking forward to furthering her education and playing volleyball. 

At Hammond, she received the most improved player award in volleyball, is an all-academic student and a member of the senior committee.
