Strong outing for Wave at Louisville Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The times are dropping for the Calumet College of St. Joseph women's cross country team, just in time to begin preparation for the upcoming Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Championships. Grace Dwyer (JR/Lake Station, Ind.) paced the Wave runners at the Louisville Classic on Saturday, Oct. 5, finishing 92nd in the strong 534 runner field. For the first time this season, four runners broke the 21-minute mark.

The Wave will take a break from competition to begin preparation for the CCAC Championships. The CCAC Championships will be held on November 9 at the Robbinhurst Golf Course in Portage, Indiana. The women's race is slated to begin at noon.
